Avetta, a SaaS supply chain risk management software, connects the world’s leading organizations with over 65,000 qualified suppliers, contractors, and vendors in over 100 countries. Generated over $60 million revenue in 2017 and roughly $70 million revenue in 2018.

 

The Story

With continued growth at Avetta, it quickly become apparent that the scalability and stability of Avetta Organizer (an 11-year old product) needed to be addressed by modernization into a new technology stack and improved cloud-based servers.  

With the decision to rebuild the product, we also wanted to treat it as an opportunity to revisit the entire customer journey and experience.  Thus we partnered with an external design firm for customer research and creating the customer journey before we hired an internal UX team to create the different user personas and experiences needed to meet our customers’ needs.

Be flexible. Be workflow-centric.

A large part of the components are focused around compliance status and task-based workflow widgets in key areas of the site, allowing users to quickly determine areas that need their attention. In total, Connect features approximately 10 master task components with multiple configurations tied to each — Tasks, Client and Supplier network listing, Compliance status variations, Insurance and many more.
